Raw Thai Slaw with Spicy "Peanut" Sauce
While on our 21-day full body detox and raw diet, I get really creative in the kitchen to create dishes with a lot of variety and a ton of flavor. Gotta keep my man happy and full also. This dish is beautiful to look at, pleasing to the palate and gives a kick (I like it spicy, but you can modify). It's also very filling and highly alkaline. Pure raw magic in a bowl.

Recipe
*gluten free, dairy free, peanut free, raw, vegan, low carb, detox friendly
INGREDIENTS - Salad
1 head of napa cabbage
1 red bell pepper
1 bag shredded carrots, OR you can shred 2-4 carrots by hand
1 avocado
2 bunches fresh cilantro
2 handfuls raw cashews
1/4 cup raw sesame seeds
1 tbsp red pepper flakes (optional)
1 tbsp chopped basil
Chop the veggies up, toss them in a bowl. Top with fresh avocado chunks, cashews, sesame seeds and garnish with basil and pepper flakes.
INGREDENTS - Spicy "peanut" sauce
1/4 cup raw almond butter
2 cloves garlic
1 knuckle fresh ginger
juice of 1 lime
3 tbsp gluten free tamari
2 tbsp raw agave
2-3 tbsp water
couple dashes of red pepper flakes (optional)
Super easy...throw everything in your food processor or high speed blender and blend! :)
