Contain Yourself

“FAILING TO PLAN IS PLANNING TO FAIL.”

Good morning lovelies!

Let’s talk briefly about Step 2: CONTAINERS!

Remember, no food storage, no food prep! This might seem super elementary to a lot of you, but you’d b surprised how many people do not have proper containers to meal prep. You should have a variety of sizes both for “bulk” cooking and for individually packaging your meals and snacks.

Containers, over zip lock bags, keep your food fresher longer, not smoothed and they are way better for the environment. Think of having variety that may include 4 cup, 3 cup, 2 cup, 1 cup and 1/2 cup containers, and enough to meal prep for 3-5 days. Also, beyond containers, have your other “on the go” items ready - a cooler bag and ice packs, a set of a fork, spoon and knife, some napkins…be prepared and ready to take your food anywhere and stay on track, even if you don't have a refrigerator - working in the field, shopping, travel, etc.

Today, I challenge you to get your items together. Stay ready my friends!
